Frustrated Dad from
Decreased circulationWhen our child was 1 or 2 months old, he fit pretty well in this carrier, other than having to give him head support. Now that he is 4 months old and weighs 15 lbs, after appropriately adjusting the straps, it has cut his circulation off to his legs 2x now, causing petichiae in his lower legs.
I would not recommend this product for the money. Will be switching to an ergonomic carrier.

Not great for babiesmy baby is now 6 months old and I am still not happy with the product even as she is growing. When she was much smaller we had to support her head and now I feel like they're still just as not any support no matter how I try and adjust the carrier. The shoulder pads are rough.

Too wide at the topThe top was way to wide for my 1 month old who is 10 lb 8 oz... it should be able to adjust more!! He just flopped to the side if I wasn't holding him against myself.
It's too bad because other than that it seems to be a great carrier! I guess I will be storing it until he's a bit bigger!

No head support. Don't waste your $I got this when my son was born and planned to use it as soon as he was large enough. There is not enough head support, even with all the straps tightened all the way. Even as he got older, it did not work for my son. I ended up buying a basic carrier from another brand that worked much better. I am disappointed given that I love the other Chicco products, especially their strollers. I was hoping for more from this carrier.

Does not adjust to accommodate heightBought this item a week ago. I am 5'9 and it barely fits me from a length perspective. The item will not adjust to accommodate different heights. My husband is 6'2 and it is too short for him. Will be returning.

a decent carrierOverall it's a decent carrier it's pretty comfortable and my daughter really seemed to enjoy being in it... it's relatively easy to put on and adjust. The only draw backs for me is 1. I wish it had a wider base to support bays bottom and legs more (it's fine when there little but as they grow the legs start to dangle a bit. 2. I wish the straps were not all in one. I'd much rather be able to fasten the waist piece and then the straps.. and adjust them independently... as I am a heavier and busty with a short waist makes it so majority of the weight is on my shoulders vs a balance of weight. (But that's got alot to do with my build)
Overall I liked it but did not use it as much as I would have liked because as she grew I didn't want her legs dangling for extended periods of time - that can be remedied if you get a piece of cloth and wrapping it around there bottom and your waist to support the legs more. Comfort wise I think the averaged size person would be fine.

It is light-weight yet still feels sturdy. I like how it is easy to adjust on the sides by baby's legs. It's great being able to have baby so close when I need my hands free!

Does the jobThe carrier is easy to use and works good for its purpose. I would be much more satisfied with it if it had a separate adjustment for the shoulder straps versus the 'all in one' adjustment straps with the waist. In order to get the shoulder straps where I want them, it is really tight around my waist.
