Secure to Vehicle: Booster

Quick Tip: Use of LATCH and top tether in booster mode is optional. If LATCH and top tether are not used, ensure the LATCH and tether straps are properly stored.

Place your OneFit on your vehicle seat in forward-facing position. Make sure it is not blocking the vehicle seat belt buckle and that the base is flat on the vehicle seat surface. Lay the tether strap over the back of the vehicle seat.

Check that the headrest of the vehicle seat does not interfere with the headrest of the OneFit

Squeeze the Recline Adjustment Handle and pull forward to adjust to a reclined position.

Make sure the bubble level falls between the two lines for the proper forward-facing booster installation mode of use. Re-adjust recline as necessary.

Remove the LATCH connectors from the LATCH connector storage compartments. Make sure the LATCH adjuster straps labeled “Pull 1st” and “Pull 2nd” are loosened to their full length.

Slide both straps into the red forward-facing opening on both sides and close both LATCH connector storage compartments. Attach both LATCH connectors to the LATCH anchor bars in the vehicle.

Pull up on the LATCH adjuster strap labeled “Pull 1st” to tighten and remove the slack.

Then, pull down on the LATCH adjuster strap labeled “Pull 2nd” to secure the OneFit in place.

Optional: Locate the tether anchor in your vehicle, attach the tether hook and pull the adjuster strap to tighten.

Check installation.

Secure Child: Booster

Chicco OneFit LX & OneFit Max All-in-One Car Seat - Securing Child: Booster

Once your child is between 40-100 lbs. and up to 57" tall, you will need to transition your OneFit LX or OneFit Max All-in-One Car Seat to Booster mode. Learn how to correctly secure your child.

Ensure your OneFit is set up correctly for forward-facing booster usage.

Loosen, unbuckle and store away the 5-point harness into the OneFit LX seat back area shown here.

Make sure child is positioned correctly in the seat with their back flat against the backrest. Adjust headrest position to fit your child correctly.

Ensure shoulder belt guide is slightly above child’s shoulders and correctly thread vehicle seat belt through OneFit booster belt guide.

Vehicle seat belt should lay snug against child’s hips and shoulders. Secure vehicle seat belt to vehicle.
