For more than 60 years, the Baby Safety Alliance (formerly JPMA) has helped parents feel confident in choosing safe products for their baby. Baby products must meet minimum government requirements based on safety and use. The Baby Safety Alliance Certification Seal signifies a product meets these and additional requirements in today’s marketplace. To become certified, each product is sample-tested at an independent laboratory to verify it meets the highest standards for quality, safety, performance and functionality. Baby Safety Alliance certification is voluntary, and based on adherence to ASTM standards, federal and state laws and some retail requirements. The program is designed to provide peace of mind to parents that these products have been independently tested to the most stringent standards.
