When installing two or more Fit3x^™ side by side, can they touch each other?
Yes, all Chicco car seats, including the Fit3x™, can touch when installed next to each other.

Can I use LATCH when installing Fit3x^™ 3 across?
You may be able to use LATCH installation for all three seats as long as each seat is equipped with the LATCH system and the car seats are properly aligned, this is dependent on your vehicle. Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for information about the LATCH system.

What is the lower anchor (LATCH) weight limit for the Fit3x^™?
The LATCH system can be used with the Fit3x^™ until your child reaches 40 lbs. When your child reaches 40 lbs, you must transition the seat to forward-facing mode and install the car seat using the vehicle seat belt and top tether.

What is the purpose of the LATCH system when using the Fit3x^™ in booster mode?
The use of the LATCH system in booster mode is optional, but recommended to keep the car seat in place when it is unoccupied.

How do I clean the Fit3x^™?
The Fit3x^™ softgoods are easy to remove and are machine washable using cold water and mild detergent; hang to dry. For complete care and maintenance instructions, refer to the instruction manual.

Which seating position in my vehicle is best for installing the Fit3x^™?
You should install your Fit3x^™ in the rear seat location that allows you to properly install the car seat and easily secure your child.

How long do I have to keep my child rear facing?
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends keeping your child rear facing until they reach either the rear-facing height or rear-facing weight limit of your car seat. For the Fit3x^™ the rear-facing usage is up to 40 lbs or 43".

Can I take the Fit3x^™ on an airplane?
The Fit3x^™ is certified for use on aircraft (FAA approved) in REAR-FACING HARNESS and FORWARD-FACING HARNESS modes only.

Do I have to use the included infant insert?
The Fit3x^™ comes with two removable inserts: the newborn insert is required for infants from 5-11 lbs. The removable side support insert must be used for children in rear-facing and forward-facing modes from 5-40 lbs.

Are the cup holders required?
No, the cup holders are not required to be used. Fit3x^™ includes CupFolders^™ which are flexible and can be folded when not in use to allow more space in the back seat.

Will the Fit3x^™ fit in my vehicle?
Fit3x^™ measurements: 21" long (fully reclined) x 16.7" wide (with both cup holders folded in) x 25" high (headrest in lowest position, recline fully upright)

The Fit3x^™ is 16.7 wide (with both cup holders folded in). If the back seat of your vehicle has at least 49.5" with the doors closed, it is likely you can fit 3 Fit3x^™ car seats across.
