3-Across Installation Tips

Fit3x^™ is an ultra-slim car seat that easily fits 3 across. Whether you are welcoming a new baby, juggling multiples, or planning ahead, here are some quick tips to achieve a simple, secure installation with 3 car seats.

Arrange Car Seats to Ensure Easy Access

Place rear-facing seats on the outboard seats for easier loading.
For booster mode, ensure the vehicle seat belt buckle is easy to reach.

Install the 3 Car Seats

Install the middle car seat first.
Vehicle Seat Belt installation is recommended for all three seats, but if you are using LATCH, ensure that each lower anchor connector is attached to its own dedicated lower anchor point.
The two CupFolders are designed to fold in to more easily fit 3 across in your vehicle. The Fit3x^™ cup holders can also be removed, if desired.

Check for a Snug Fit

All car seats must achieve and maintain a tight installation.
The car seats can touch each other as long as the contact does not bend or change the angle of any of the car seats.
