Bravo Trio Travel System FAQs
The infant car seat that comes with your travel system can be attached directly to the stroller for use with a newborn. While most strollers are designed for children at least 6 months of age, some strollers include an additional infant insert that allows newborns and infants to ride directly in the stroller.
If an infant car seat is certified for use on aircraft (FAA approved) it will be listed on the car seat and in the owner’s manual. Check with your airline for any specific requirements regarding using a car seat on the airplane.
If using the stroller with the infant car seat, as a travel system, the starting point is birth, the stroller by itself is typically used for a child beginning at 6 months of age and up until they reach 50 lbs. Always refer to your owner’s manual for specific usage instructions.
The fabrics on a stroller can be spot-cleaned as needed and in some cases, the seat fabric is removable and machine washable. Always refer to the owner’s manual regarding cleaning instructions.
Most car seat manufacturers offer additional infant car seat bases that can be purchased separately so that both parents or additional caregivers can keep a base in their vehicle for easy transitions.
Travel systems are offered with various types of strollers including lightweight, full-sized, and jogging strollers. If you are looking for a specific type of stroller make that a top priority when comparing travel systems.
Choosing the best travel system for your family includes researching the infant car seat and the type of stroller that is included as part of the system. There are various stroller features you may want to consider such as a height-adjustable parent handle, type of fold, and type of wheels that may be important to you. In addition, features you should look for in an infant car seat include the length of use (based on height/weight limits), type of fabrics, and ease of adjusting the harness.
